Here’s is my oh-my-word-we-are-running-late-for-the-first-day-of-school snapshot of Emily.

Seems like just last month she was toddling all over the house and putting band-aids on her fake boo boos.

I know that whole “seems like just last….” thing is so cliche, but it really does zoom by so fast.

She is such a smarty pants and jokester.

She gets humor like a grown up would and I just love that about her.

She gets my sarcastic jokes and cracks some of her own.

Emily loves school and all of her buddies there. She ended up getting the same teacher that she had in kindergarten…she was very happy about that!
