Each day we come home from school I see this beautiful little light beam shining in the garage and landing right there on the doorstep.

Two out of three girls were happy to sit for two point three seconds each.

Also, on this day, Emily spotted one of those cute little lanterns floating in the sky just above our street.

We then spent the drive to school trying to figure out where it came from and if it had a note attached.

Wondering if it was tired from floating all night long and where it could have landed.

It was definitely something we haven’t seen before and they got a real kick out of it.
