I’m sure you’ve probably seen this going around. Where you commit to videoing 1 second of your day each day. Then, putting those clips together to make one big video. Well, guess who hopped aboard that train?
*toot toot*!
Except, I simply couldn’t limit myself to one teeny tiny little second each day.
DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW LONG THAT SECOND IS?!
Well, it’s short.
So, I ended up with *almost* a second and a half per clip.
PLUS, I shot more than one video a day.
I know. I know.
Before I knew it I was having a blast with this project AND BREAKING ALL THE RULES at the same time!
Such a rebel.
But will I regret recording more than one second and totally not committing to the Just One Second project like everyone else?
Um. lemme think.
NO.
I mean, who doesn’t want MORE videos? Nobody has ever said, “okay, you know what? That’s entirely too much baby giggling. Trim it down sister”.
Below you’ll find my rebellious not-just-one-second video for January.
But first, I shot these with a Nikon d810 + 35mm. The aperture was between 1.4 and 2.2 and I used auto white balance. I put the video together in iMovie and did not edit the clips at all aside from trimming down and removing sound. Also, the music was free from Bensound.
I mean, c’mon. I don’t even have the words to express how beautiful this is Melissa. Such beautiful glimpses of real life. You’re family is precious and I just love that you all will have these wonderful treasures of video to look back on as your girls get older. What a priceless gift. And your talent…don’t even get me started. I feel like I could say this about everything you do, but it’s so true! God has gifted you with such a beautiful gift, for sure! ????❤????
