The Way I View the Holidays

Woop!!! It’s the last edition of the Way I View Project!

This year, I teamed up with some sweet and talented CMpro friends in order to commit to posting more and getting to know each other.

I have had THE.BEST.TIME with these girls! They inspire me and make me want to be a better photographer.

I wanna smooch their little faces slap off.

Anyway…enough of the mushy stuff.

During the holidays? I love just spending time with my little ones.

Not having to get up early, having breakfast in bed and hearing those little giggles.

It’s even better if it’s rainy and chilly out.

Then, we just stay inside all day and bake cookies, wrap gifts, and listen to music while we play together.

I don’t usually take many photos of them at all when they are opening presents and such.

It’s nice to just sit back and watch their excitement.

Making memories and keeping them in my little brain and heart.

So, although you won’t see any Crazy Christmas Opening Presents Shots? It did happen and it was awesome.

I pretty much put the camera away after this little day of making gingerbread houses.

Now, don’t forget to head on over to see what my friend Jessica has for her holiday post.

So fun! Such a pretty glimpse into your holidays with your girls. Sometimes the best memories are the ones not photographed 🙂

How fun this is?! I love all of these but died when I saw the next-to-last one. Your girls are the cutest 🙂

you know what… the same thought occurred to me on Christmas morning; I contemplated not reaching for the camera at all. I chickened out :/ but after reading this I just may do the same next year! I did make an otherwise conscious effort this year to just be “there” instead of “there behind the camera”, and I have to say the holidays were more enjoyable 😀 Happy New Year Melissa! Sorry I rambled 😉 but I just love these shots especially all that cuteness in the last one. <3
