It was smokin’ hot today.
Like 98 or something heck I don’t know.
I took the girls into The Big City to the public fountains.
I guess they are calling it a “splash pad” these days.
We just call it….
The Water Fountains.
We got there at ten o’clock and do you know what?
I WAS ALREADY SWEATING MY FACE OFF!
I have NEVER wanted to run naked through the public fountain before today.
But lemme tell you.
I considered it.
It was so hot I thought about croaking.
But then I didn’t.
And this weekend?
It’ll be about 105.
ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE.
Give or take a flame or two.
I’ll be spending my time inside with my face in the freezer.
It’s scorchin here in TX too….Gah!!! I don’t want to see the electric bill this month….or the months coming up. Great idea heading for the fountain. I might have to jump in with the girls.
Oh my that is hot! A few days ago it was 52 in the morning. Today it’s only about 75 but humid (we are usually dry). Kind of gross. But not as crazy sounding as 100! That would have me wanting to run naked through the fountains as well!
